**Job Title**: Tableau Administrator
**Contract**: 6 months' contract | Potential extension
**Location**: Canberra

**Purpose**

Our large government owned client is seeking a skilled Tableau Administrator to join their dynamic Data Platform and Analytics Team where you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimising the Tableau environment, ensuring smooth data visualisation operations for the organisation.

**Key responsibilities and experience for the role includes, but is not limited to**:

- Conduct regular maintenance activities on on-premise Tableau to ensure optimal performance, such as monitoring system performance, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support for Tableau software-related issues, including software installations, updates, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct regular maintenance on workstations to optimise performance and provide a seamless Tableau experience.

**Skills, Competencies and Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Tableau with strong knowledge of Tableau software, including administration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support users effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and development groups.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong understanding of Tableau Cloud and its administration (desirable).
