UX Researcher

Are you a talented **Strategist /UX Researcher** with a passion for research, measurement, and evaluation? Our client is a renowned strategic product design & innovation studio in Sydney,

Their core business offerings include designing research plans, conducting usability and concept testing, distilling insights, developing strategy narratives and business cases, and implementing evaluation frameworks.

To support their growth and deliver on new interesting projects, they are looking to hire a savvy **Strategist / UX Researcher (Mid-Senior level)**. Essentially someone who has great comms, an outcomes-focused approach to research, measurement and evaluation, and a good knowledge of Human-centred design, design research and/or measurement and evaluation frameworks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop research plans with clear objectives, methodologies, and hypotheses, effectively communicating them to internal teams and clients
- Facilitate usability and concept testing, including script writing, inclusive recruitment, and execution
- Analyze research findings to distil insights and identify opportunities for the business.
- Collaborate on strategy narratives and build compelling business cases
- Define project outcomes and indicators using frameworks like Theory of Change or MEL.
- Conduct and lead workshops to foster collaborative problem-solving
- Engage in client check-ins, demonstrations, team meetings, studio stand-ups, and agency-wide sessions

**Requirements**:

- Possess 2-4 years of experience in areas such as human-centered design, design research, or measurement and evaluation frameworks
- Background in the not-for-profit, university, or government sectors, managing research or programs, is advantageous
- Strong understanding of social or economic sciences or community development

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
