**Position overview**

Allygroup is seeking paralegals to join a federal government agency. This is an opportunity to gain experience in professional services and create long-lasting contacts in a government agency. The position is in a fast-paced and exciting environment dealing with numerous complex pieces of legislation.

This is a short-term secondment opportunity with the possibility of further extensions.
- Experience understanding, preparing and drafting contracts
- Ability to conduct assessments and identify items of significance in complex matters
- Assist in the management of subpoena, notices and other paralegal and administrative tasks
- Ability to interpret complex legislation
- Working on complex and routine matters daily
- Facilitating excellent legal outcomes
- Managing time and working to tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
