**About the role**:
As Workshop Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and upgrade of water and sewerage plant equipment. You will also act as a point of contact for mechanical servicing matters by providing sound advice, innovation and problem solving. This role is also responsible for process improvement, relationship development and mentoring team members within the workshop.

- A strong commitment to personal and team safety.

- Mechanical Fitter Machinist trade qualification.
- Safe and competent operation of manual lathes, mill and drilling machines.
- Disassemble, assess, reassemble, and maintain/repair a range of water supply and wastewater infrastructure equipment.
- Fabricate and operate of a range of welding equipment.
- Restricted electrical licence or willingness to obtain.
- HR Class Driver License or willingness to obtain (we’ll support you to do this).
- Proficient with MS Outlook and ability to use maintenance management systems.
