You will have the opportunity to contribute to business strategy and direction, while working on significant land development projects with support from the team of experienced Licensed Surveyors. **About the opportunity**

You will provide expert technical advice and consulting skills on greenfield, urban infill and infrastructure projects and oversea cadastral surveys for developers, authorities and the public sector. You will:

- Identify new business opportunities, act as the client interface and bid for projects
- Liaise with contractors, clients, landowners, local authorities and both internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct field components of cadastral surveys occasionally, with a strong focus on client relationships, signing plans and managing submissions of survey documents and plans
- Build strong relationships with key clients becoming a trusted advisor
- Work autonomously in projects delivering the clients’ brief within time and budget
- Responsible for projects are carried out to clients’ brief within time and budget
- Mentor, train and supervise other surveyors and provide guidance to develop individuals who embark on a Professional Training Agreement.

**About you**

You are passionate about the work you do and the important role you play in helping our communities grow. You’ll demonstrate:

- A degree in Surveying and 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Surveyor
- Strong working knowledge of cadastral surveys and legislation, managing projects and subdivisional processes
- Excellent consulting skills and strong passion for delivering for clients
- The ability to guide and develop others in a range of survey related technologies and software (desirable)
- A self-starter with a high level of initiative
- Consultative and approachable with good communication skills
