High School Maths Tutor for Gifted Students

We are looking for young, passionate and energetic team members to join our small team at Practice Perfect Coaching College. Our learning centre is located in Bankstown. Over the last 20 years, we have developed an excellent reputation for helping students be in the top percentage at their schools and in the HSC.

In particular, there is a vacancy for a tutor for High School Maths Tutor years 7-12. If you have a love for teaching, this is the right role for you. You'll be working with small classes of intelligent students that attend some of the top schools in the state.

Job description:

- Teaching small classes of students
- Marking of homework and topic tests
- Informal mentoring young adults

Job skills and experience:

- Achieved band 6 HSC results in Mathematics Ext I or II. Studying a Maths-related degree is a plus.
- Passion for teaching and learning
- Personable and empathetic soft skills
- Previous ongoing work experience in retail, hospitality or customer service will be highly regarded

Job perks:

- Flexible working hours. Classes will be on weekday evenings or weekends.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 3-6 per week

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- High School (Year 12) (required)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Australian driver's licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
