**The Role**:
Maxima, and Pulteney Grammer School, are looking for a driven individual to undertake an entry level Horticulture Traineeship within their Property and Facilities team.

This fulltime opportunity will see you assisting in the upkeep and establishment of the school grounds including infrastructure, gardens and property. Across 3-years you will develop skills and knowledge in a variety of areas with hands-on experience, and paid study towards achieving a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Horticulture**.

You will be exposed to not only the Campus but will also spend time in Park 20 which is home to 6 Sporting Grounds.

**Duties Include**:

- Garden and grounds maintenance
- Mulch, prune, pot, and water plants
- Use garden tools and machinery
- Brush cutting and mowing
- Pest and weed control
- Install irrigation pipes and watering systems
- Line Marking

- A strong commitment to work health and safety, and to working in a safe manner

**Role Requirements**:

- Current driver’s licence and access to reliable vehicle
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Physically fit and healthy due to manual labour work
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol test
