**Salary**: $73,150 plus super

**Hours**: 38 hours per week

**Position Summary**

We are looking for an experienced Dog Groomer to provide high-quality grooming services for dogs of all breeds and sizes. This role involves ensuring the pets’ safety and comfort while delivering excellent customer service to pet owners.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform full grooming services, including bathing, clipping, brushing, and styling according to breed standards or owner preferences.
- Conduct health checks on pets and identify potential skin or health issues.
- Ensure the grooming area and tools are cleaned and sanitized.
- Handle dogs in a calm and patient manner, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pet’s grooming needs and provide advice on grooming care.

**Requirements**:

- At least **2 years of professional experience** in dog grooming.
- Relevant qualification or certification in pet grooming (preferred but not essential).
- Experience working with dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques and tools.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to identify and handle potential behavioural challenges in a calm and confident manner.
