Our client is a civil contractor who has recently won and is due to win several civil projects across New South Wales and is currently looking for a Quality Engineer and a Quality Manager looking after quality on one of their Sydney projects.
The typical projects they work on include rail, road, and waterworks. They have a need for a Quality Manager / Coordinator across their project who has the drive to manage either larger scale works to $50m in value. With an unrivaled ability to deliver major civil infrastructure and a history of successful project delivery across the country, this contractor would be a great career move to ensure you further develop your career.
Working closely with the Project Managers, Construction Manager, and Systems Manager you will take a lead and be the Quality person across the project. Liaising with Engineers and Supervisors ensures that best-practice quality systems are put in place as the business increases in size. As a growing business, you will have the opportunity over time to build a team of people who report to you.
To be successful in this role you should have;
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- have worked on civil infrastructure projects
- ability to form strong relationships with multifaceted site teams
- excellent communication skills
- strong client relationship skills
