**About the role**

Talent Solutions is looking for a Recruitment Business Partner to join this high performing team working with our client Pacific National,** **Australia’s most trusted and respected logistics partner.** **We offer a hybrid arrangement between working from home and on site at our client locations, the Head Office is in North Sydney and as required when you attend site visits you could also work from our** **Enfield and Chullora depots for the day.

As the Recruitment Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment of permanent roles for Pacific National. This is a multi-hat role that will have you undertake day to day recruitment activities along with brainstorming creative sourcing strategies, providing market insights to your Hiring Manager community and supporting them through the recruitment process.

**As a valued member of the Talent Acquisition team your key responsibilities will include**:

- End to end internal recruitment including requisition management for a variety of roles (Trainee Train Drivers, Terminal Operators, Experienced Train Drivers and Superintendents etc) Livehire (ATS) maintenance, attend job briefs, write adverts, phone screening, long listing, interviewing, process pre-employment checks (medical, police check & references) offers and raising contracts
- You will be assigned a portfolio (so this a great opportunity for you to own your portfolio) and partner with your internal stakeholders across P&C and Operations, managing their talent requirements

**What are we looking for in you?**
- Experience in stakeholder management and a sense of urgency are essential requirements
- High attention to detail and your ability to manage multiple priorities
- You will work with multiple platforms and require working knowledge of excel for reporting
- We pull together to assist with volume workloads, so we are seeking a true team player, someone who is adaptable and flexible
- Previous experience as a high-volume blue-collar recruiter
- Previous experience within the logistics/rail industry is a bonus but not essential
- Strong customer service mindset
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and positively influence and engage at all levels
- A driven, passionate & collaborative approach and a desire to succeed
- Strong decision-making skills and an ability and willingness to manage difficult conversations where needed
- You are required to hold your own drivers licence and have access to reliable transport for occasional regional client site visits to see the operations
