**About us**

We are DevelopmentWA - Western Australia’s land development agency. Our work is diverse and state-wide, developing land for sustainable communities, prosperous industry and resilient regions.

Our portfolio includes the development and management of some of WA’s most iconic residential, commercial and industrial projects both within the metropolitan area, and regional areas of our state.

Projects including Elizabeth Quay, Alkimos, Ocean Reef Marina, the Australian Marine Complex, Subi East and Broome North.

**The role**

The Stakeholder and Community Engagement Team Lead is responsible for managing stakeholder relationships and community engagement to maximise DevelopmentWA’s effectiveness. This includes facilitating a strategic stakeholder engagement and management approach to achieve both corporate and project objectives. The role has a key focus on managing impacts on stakeholderStas as well as assisting to manage the social licence to operate for key projects. This role manages the Stakeholder and Community Engagement team.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

- exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- AIP2 Qualified;
- the ability to strategically manage critical business relationships;
- experience delivering infrastructure, urban infill or large land development community engagement programs;
- Aboriginal Engagement experience is highly regarded
- relevant tertiary qualifications or experience;
- ability to prepare and deliver high level presentations;
- experience dealing with private sector outcomes and government policy;
- Organisational skills including working with multiple deadlines;
- Budget management;
- Excellent written and editing skills across a wide variety of mediums, including media releases, speeches, newsletters and brochures.
