Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Metering Technician to join Service Stream in our Ulverstone, Tasmania office.
About the Role

Service Stream Power Tas are currently seeking Metering Technicians to join our growing company.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Ulverstone TAS

Reporting Line: Works Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Installation and exchange of Whole Current Electricity Meters
- Investigate and rectify communication faults
- Meter investigations and meter tests
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with OH&S policies and procedures of the company and relevant state and national legislation
- Populate and return all relevant paperwork in a timely manner
- Ensure regular daily contact with supervisor

This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement.

About You
- Previous experience in the metering field and/or the electrical field is essential
- Relevant technical qualifications (Tasmania A Grade Electrical Licence)
- Relevant Industry training
- Current drivers licence to enable site visits
- UEENEEG171A - Install, Setup and Commission Interval Metering (preferable but not mandatory)
- National Police check
- Working with Children’s check
- Construction (White) Card
