Liquid Labs WA require a Civil Engineering Technician specialising in Civil or Geotechnical Testing with at least three years of relevant experience for a full-time position at our base facility in Carlisle.

The successful applicant will be required to:

- Plan and perform fieldwork and laboratory testing of construction materials, particularly asphalt and bitumen
- Collate, compute and analyse test data for the purpose of producing test reports
- Assist with maintenance of laboratory equipment by conducting regular stocktakes, calibrations and checks
- Liaise with laboratory management and clients to co-ordinate workflows, work instructions, checklists, batch records and logs

The successful applicant will possess the following minimum skills and qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Civil Engineering Technician in an accredited Construction Materials Testing Laboratory
- Tertiary qualification specifically targeted towards construction material testing e.g., certificate, diploma etc.
- Extensive experience with portable nuclear density gauges, especially for testing compaction of asphalt
- Relevant experience in Quality System Management, Auditing, Testing, Training, Planning, Scheduling and Research
- Previous experience assisting/supporting Civil Engineers in estimating costs and preparing sketches and tabulations
- Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations
- High attention to detail and ability to consistently follow standards
- Commitment to quality and efficiency
- Reliable and able to work independently and in a team
- Good time management and organisations skills
- Highly disciplined with ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal
- Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially Microsoft Word and Excel or other LIMS)

**Salary**: $54,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
