Sebastien Sans Gluten is a specialised French bakery owned by a qualified French baker with years of experience and success in the industry and a well-known destination for locals to relax and enjoy a taste of France. Find us in the heart of Leichhardt, where we are well known for our fantastic range of gluten free authentic artisan French delight.
We are seeking a full time Pastrycook to join our small and professional team located in the busy Leichhardt, NSW.
You are required to be organised, efficient and capable of delivering a consistent standard of work. This work will require early morning start and weekend work. What is expected of you for this position include:
- Extensive experience in a fast-paced bakery environment
- Experience in preparing and baking buns, cakes, biscuits and pastry goods
- Be excited by the art of baking and take pride in your work
- Demonstrating skills in baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies
- Adding novel, creative, and delicious pastry items to the existing selection
- operating cutting and moulding machines, dough mixing and pastry production
- Hiring, training, and supervising pastry section staff, as well as adhering to food industry regulations
- To be customer obsessed and continually seek to better understand our diverse customers
- A real passion for quality and consistency
- knowledge of bakery cleanliness and hygiene
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
