SC Services is a leading provider of wireless infrastructure construction solutions for telecommunication carriers and ICT network providers across Australia. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiocommunications/Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Wetherill Park.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**:
As a Radiocommunications/Telecommunications Technician at SC Services, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, installation, and repair of wireless telecommunications systems. Your responsibilities will involve interpreting design drawings, conducting installations, testing, commissioning, and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure state-wide. You will also be required to troubleshoot and replace defective equipment, ensure compliance with safety standards, and work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Interpret design drawings and seek design clarifications based on site survey findings.
- Install and maintain WCDMA/LTE/4G/5G/NBN technologies.
- Install Radio Base Stations, Terminating Hybriflex Cables & Coaxial feeder cables/tails, earthing, cable trays, diplexers, combiners.
- Upgrade or Install DC Power rack systems including rectifiers, batteries, and load testing. Ability to configure and capture status for HOP’s submissions.
- Commissioning and integration of RBS into the network. Conduct PIM, VSWR, and sweep and fiber testing.
- Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth project progress and comply with build timeframe.
- Provide daily progress reports to the manager with progress photos, build issues, and details of potential variation works.
- Install and commission microwave indoor and outdoor units.
- Perform software installation, testing, and commissioning of sites.
- Conduct call testing of sites and uploading of HOP’s for site acceptance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements and perform SWMS, MOB, JHA’s as required. Report any injuries, incidents, or "near-miss" situations to Line Manager and OHS Coordinator.
- Ability to compile red line markups (RLM’s) for documentation purposes.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Australian citizens and permanent residents encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the telecommunications Industry.
- Minimum Diploma in Telecommunications or Engineering Science, Electronics, or Microprocessors.
- CCNA certified/IP network background knowledge (desirable).
- Experience reading and interpreting design drawings.
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities, including risk assessments.
- Computer and software installation skills.
- Current Working at Heights Certificate and Tower Rescue Certification.
- First Aid and CPR Licence.
- Radhaz RF EME Awareness.
- Full Manual Drivers Licence.
- Construction White Card.
