About the Opportunity

The Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner supervises a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners/ Behaviour Therapists whilst continuing to conduct assessments, write behavioural support plans and programs, and assist with the implementation of plans. This role allows you to work in a person-centred approach using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support. We engage with people across the lifespan in the home, community, and school/workplace settings providing varied mediums of engagement. This role really allows both your clinical and leadership skills to flourish.

**Skills and Experiences**:
The Opportunity Involves
- Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans.
- Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions after assessment and diagnosis.
- Provide training, support and clinical supervision of Behaviour Support Practitioners/Behaviour Therapists.
- Use behavioural, psychological and evidence-based theories to develop and implement program designs and interventions.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Adhere to NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements.

The Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree or post graduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support e.g. Psychology.
- Minimum of three years’ experience demonstrating provision of positive behaviour support services.
- Demonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of oral and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical reports.
- Compliance checks including the NDIS Workers Screening Check, National Criminal History Check and any relevant State-issued WWCC/WWVP cards.
- COVID19 Vaccination Digital Certificate, inclusive of mandated booster vaccinations as directed by State Government and NDIS mandates.
- Valid Driver Licence.
