**The Opportunity**:
This opportunity will see you working within the Recruitment Team who are responsible for continuously implementing the department’s talent acquisition strategy, working across the branch and business areas to contribute to the department’s objective to attract, retain and develop the right people for the right jobs at the right time. This position will be initially offered as a 3 month non ongoing opportunity with the option to extend.

Within this role you will also have the opportunity to be exposed to high profile recruitment projects along with the chance to network across the department and wider APS.

**The Role**:
The APS 5 Recruitment Advisor is responsible for end-to-end recruitment and onboarding functions.

Duties include:

- Supporting stakeholders and providing advice on recruitment and onboarding matters
- Facilitate internal and external advertising, including through the Whole of Australian Government media agency
- Manage the day-to-day operations of junior members of the team
- Champion best practice and appropriate governance for recruitment processes with business areas
- Under guidance of a senior member of the team, review selection reports for delegate approval and provide constructive feedback to selection panels to encourage continuous improvement

**The Ideal Person**:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end APS recruitment as part of an in-house recruitment function serving internal stakeholders.

You will be driven, team focussed, have a can-do attitude and be able to meet multiple deadlines.

You will have a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved along with strong communication and analytical skills.

Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors is highly desirable.

**Salary / Rate**:

- $77K - $82K per year plus 15.4% Super
- 3 Month Non-Ongoing with options to extend
- Baseline clearance preferred
