Brisbane, Australia Youth With A MIssion Brisbane Full time

**Duties**:
All tasks are in relation to assisting our faith-based community members to recognise and respond to the Biblical teachings of Jesus in a missional way.
- Assist with services of public worship, prayer meetings and acknowledgments of faith.
- Assist with the delivery of sermons, devotionals, Bible studies and special talks.
- Assist with classes of religious instruction in our Discipleship Training School (DTS), Basic Leadership School (BLS/C4CM) and Diploma in Christian Missions Leadership (CML)
- Assist with prayer and discussion groups, retreats, and seminars.
- Participate in the social and welfare activities of the community, encouraging people to be aware of their responsibilities, and organising participation in community projects.
- Visiting members of the community in their homes and other venues to provide advice and religious comfort.
- Attend Local, National and International Youth With A Mission gatherings with younger members for their engagement and personal development.
- Maintain an ongoing lifestyle of evangelism through day-to-day contacts and welfare activities.
- Continued development of one’s personal relationship with God.
- Administrative duties as required.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Certificate III in Discipleship or DTS Equivalent
- Certificate IV in Christian Missions
- Additional Christian ministry training as deemed appropriate for the role

**Required experience**:

- Minimum 4 years teaching and pastoral care in Youth With A Mission
- Demonstration of Christian character and Christ-like leadership

**Required skills and personal attributes**:

- Leadership and management skills
- Prayer counseling
- Ability to teach, preach, lead discussion groups, andBible studies
- Lead prayer and worship services
- Pastoral care, mentoring and coaching skills
- A commitment to missions, and specifically YWAM values and beliefs

Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:
