**About the role**

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing adoption plans and contracts with external partners, managing key strategic relationships with one or more of the following stakeholder groups: Jurisdictions, Private Hospitals, Clinical Peaks, PHNs, Software Developers & Commercial Organisations.

This position manages the relationships with commercial organisations in the pathology and diagnostic imaging sector and is required to perform under broad direction while managing complex stakeholder engagement and partnership management functions. Provide sound advice and recommendations to stakeholders based on conversations with consumers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide expertise across a broad range of activities relating to the work of different program areas for your stakeholder group.
- Provide expert advice on complex problem solving and issues management for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure in-depth knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial and administrative frameworks, government decision-making processes and agency guidelines and regulations.
- Take responsibility for the achievements of own and team outcomes, monitor progress and follow through to deliver quality outcomes.
- Engage with risk, including the conduct of risk assessment and risk management activities for area of responsibility.
- Manage a number of employees performing diverse tasks or manage a larger team where skill sets are similar and tasks are related.
- Ensure quality outputs including that your employees maintain a high level of specialist, professional and/or technical expertise.

**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications commensurate with the duties of the role
- In-depth understanding of the Australian Health Care sector, particularly in regard to pathology and diagnostic imaging vendors
- Extensive experience in relationship management
- Sound understanding of business principles, contract management and budget management
