**Location**: Solomon
Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
**Roster**: 7D/7N/14RNR
Working with a diverse team reporting to the maintenance Services Supervisor, your role will be required to maintain all the HME fire suppression systems, both in a planned and breakdown scenario. All work will be required to comply with Fortescue’s safe working practices and to industry standards. In addition, you may be required to perform additional duties within the Mobile maintenance department as directed by your supervisor.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Install and maintain all the HME fire suppression systems
- Diagnosing and repair system defects
- Provide documentation of all system defects and repair methods carried out
- Raise notifications to assist with system maintenance
- Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed
- Adapting to new technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Experience installing, diagnosing (including electrically), and repairing Fire Suppression systems
- Sound knowledge of different Fire Suppression systems - eg. Muster, Chubb, Striker, Wormald & FSI
- Certificate II Fire Suppression System
- Capable of working safely in a team and autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- SAP Experience.
