**Position title**: Principal Cyber Security Specialist
Position Reports to A/Chief Information Security Officer

**Duration**: ASAP Start Date for 3+ Month Engagement

**Location**: Melbourne - CBD - Hybrid
Summary of role
This position will report to the Chief Information Security Officer, who is responsible for cyber security strategy, policy, and operations, and for the implementation of programs.
Key domains of responsibility for this position include all aspects of the security lifecycle, including identifying, protecting, detecting, and recovering from cyber-security threats, attacks, and incidents.
Other Accountabilities
Implementing security controls, including technical solutions
Provide technical advice for any incidents reported with operational teams
Complete investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities
Risk assessment activities
Assist in security audits to ensure compliance with security policies and work with IDS Risk & Reporting team as required
Review the current cyber operation and asses that we are fit for purpose and recommend opportunities for driving improvement and efficiency.
Specialist Experience Required
Minimum 3-5 years' experience at a senior level in Information Security
Proven extensive knowledge of Risk and Security Frameworks and industry certifications.
