**About the Role**
**Rheumatology Fellow / Registrar - 2024 (non-core)**
The Rheumatology Unit at Western Health has a vacancy for a Non-Core Rheumatology Registrar / Fellow position for a 12 month placement commencing February 2024.
**To be Successful in this Role you**
- Hold current registration or eligible to register with AHPRA as a medical practitioner
- Are currently an Advanced Trainee looking for a non-core role or;
- Would like a further year post completion of training to gain additional clinical and/or research experience (at Fellow level)
- Have an interest in or proven track record in research
- Have a commitment to teaching and supervision of other junior medical residents & staff
Support will be given to applicants who are keen to improve aspects of their Rheumatology Portfolio and are able to propose training plans. We will try and accommodate these requests.
We will also be very supportive of any applicant who wishes to pursue a higher degree.
