**What’s on offer?**
- Starting base salary of $69,000 plus 12.75% super whilst a trainee. Once qualified working the current 24/7 shifts roster, a typical annual salary including penalty rates is $150,000 plus superannuation

**Your opportunity**
Working in the control room of our Rail Management Centre for South East Queensland, you will learn to control and coordinate parts of the rail network. You will play a key role in connecting communities and providing a world class rail services for our customers. This opportunity provides a specific training pathway to become a qualified Network Control Officer with Queensland Rail.

**Essential information to be considered before applying**

At Queensland Rail, your growth really matters. This is an exciting and unique opportunity that requires our successful applicants to learn and grow through a structured training program together and for this reason, the following applies:

- **Start date is Monday the 9th of October 2023**:

- Training encompasses an intensive 18 week program, combining classroom and simulator learning followed by on-the-job training
- During the training periods, no annual leave can be taken, including leave over traditional holiday periods
- This is an opportunity to work towards a permanent role after successfully completing the 12-month probation period and successful completion of all training and assessments
- Once qualified, you will work a roster comprising of 8-hour shifts on a 24/7 basis, therefore availability to commit to working within this roster structure is imperative
