**About the role**

Key responsibilities include:

- A focus on the development and maintenance of relationships with Early Years Managers and service providers.
- Working with Early Years Managers, Committees of Management, and Providers of Kindergarten programs in Council owned facilities to strategically plan for future capital works, leasing requirements, quarterly audits and facility maintenance as required.
- Encouraging and actively promoting the seeking of appropriate grants to support the enhancement of facilities and ensure that a strategic approach is maintained which includes prioritising works across Council owned facilities.
- Continuing to build relationships with EYM’s and operators to facilitate active and engaged information sharing and transparency to create safe, responsive and compliant environments for program delivery.
- Assisting with the development of budgets for projects, be responsible for reporting progress and outcomes of Capital/Non Capital projects.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding of the City departments and be able to build strong relationships.

Essential Experience:

- Tertiary qualifications in the Early Years Services, Community Development or related discipline and/or relevant work experience in the field
- Demonstrated experience in policy and procedure implementation
- Advanced communication skills with high attention to detail
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence
