**Position Summary**
This individual will be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, contributing to project analysis, strategic analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements of the company.

**Duties and Accountabilities**
- Develop and maintain financial models for commercial purposes
- Evaluate commercial opportunities and develop business cases to support decision making
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends and project future outcomes
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate trends and financial implications of alternative business strategies, using internal and external data sources
- Identify, design and develop financial and operational reporting tools to assist in commercial operations
- Support project teams with upfront analysis and ongoing evaluation of company projects
- Drive the annual budget and quarterly reforecast process, including maintaining the budget system architecture, and identifying continual improvements for the process.
- Contribute to the continual improvements of systems and procedures to maximise efficiency across the FP&A team.
- Support the Financial Planning and Analysis manager with adhoc project, tasks and analysis as required.
- Assist as required with other finance and strategic orientated tasks and responsibilities.

- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including team meetings, department meetings and other related efforts.

- Participate in regular Performance Reviews and undertake all training/development as recommended.

**Critical Skills and Attributes**
- The right to work in Australia.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Advanced MS Office skills, with a high degree of capability in MS Excel.
- Previous experience with TM1 and Power BI (desired but not required)
- Strong Analytical, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Modeling and Reporting skills.
- Experience using technology to extract/manipulate data and develop financial/reporting solutions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- CA/CPA Qualified, or studying towards
- Ability to prioritise work in accordance with deadlines.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment.
- Willingness to assist other areas of the business as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes.
- Passion for accuracy and timeliness.
