**The Opportunity**

Our Health Insurance Clinical Governance team are seeking a diligent
**Clinical Quality Manager** to provide specialised advice and leadership to deliver optimal clinical outcomes for customers. You’ll partner with our Customer Health and Care (CHC) team to design, implement, and strengthen clinical governance structures and systems.

As Clinical Quality Manager, you’ll embed a culture of clinical safety, learning and continuous improvement by supporting CHC services to embed the requirements of Bupa’ APAC’s Clinical Governance Framework.
- This is a permanent full-time position based in our Melbourne or Sydney offices. (Bupa offers hybrid working and you can work from the office or at home)_

**Key responsibilities include**
- Lead clinical quality improvement activities and initiatives to optimise clinical care and associated outcomes for Bupa customers
- Lead and undertake clinical audits, reviews, and investigations across CHC division to support clinical safety and quality improvement
- Support the development, maintenance, and active use of CHC clinical risk profiles/registers through identification of existing systems and processes that mitigate risk, and planning improvement strategies to further mitigate risks
- Develop meaningful clinical indicators and clinical data visualisation methods across CHC analysing and interpreting data and trends to improve clinical safety and monitor the appropriateness and effectiveness of services provided
- Contribute to the identification of clinical governance learning and development needs, and leading educational activities to strengthen organisational capacity and capability.

**As Clinical Quality Manager, you’ll require -**
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent health professional qualification with a current professional AHPRA registration
- A qualification in clinical governance, quality improvement, clinical audit or healthcare risk management would be advantageous
- Advanced professional expertise in the field of clinical governance, quality or risk held within a healthcare setting
