**About Your New Role**
We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead the finance, accounting and payroll functions through turnaround and future growth, leading a small team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, and as a key part of the senior leadership team, you will be working collaboratively with the heads of other departments.

The purpose of this role will be to guide business decisions to drive turnaround activities and continue to build foundations for sustainable business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Support business strategy development with appropriate financial insights, analysis, and modelling
- Prepare business cases including all financial modelling for key strategic initiatives
- Manage the forecast and budget cycle with Heads of Departments, ensuring fiscal ownership of financial performance across the business and managing costs
- Monthly P&L review of functional revenue and costs - monthly reporting, analysis and commentary against forecast and budget
- Manage treasury operations including cash flow management definitions and decisions
- Work closely with key team members and stakeholders to ensure accuracy of financial data and determine further efficiencies and automation to streamline existing process
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts reporting process to ensure financial accuracy and timelines are achieved.
- Communicate results and recommendations to Senior Management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
- Manage a team of three whilst developing business acumen across the wider team.

**About You**
- Have demonstrated success in a similar role
- Knowledge of consumer markets and supply chain gained within multi-site environments ideally within Retail
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Strong data analysis and modelling skills and capability to drive business improvement and ROI to deliver commercial outcomes
- Experience with financial systems and reporting/forecasting tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data in ways that are effective and readily understood
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, influence and relationship management skills
- Willingness to be hands on as part of leading a small team
