**The Role**
- Located in Stapylton (Gold Coast Region), QLD
- Casual role
- Mon - Sun shifts available
- Full training provided

**Position Overview**

The function of the Stagehand (Casual labour) is to assist the Stage Technicians in the construction and dismantling of staging equipment for our various events. This position within Megadeck requires you to be physically fit, be punctual, work well with teams, and to be able to follow instructions well.

**Key Job Activities**
- Assisting our team leaders on-site to Assemble/dismantle staging equipment
- Maintaining all stage equipment to a high standard
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
- Ensure workplace is always clean and presentable
- Must be able to work alone and in a team environment
- Heavy lifting of equipment and raw materials
- Basic Painting
- Miscellaneous tasks in our workshop area
- Operate to and within the companies WH&S requirements.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Must have good communication skills
- Punctuality
- Enthusiastic
- Reading / Writing skills
- Good phone manner
- Attention to detail
- Positive CAN DO attitude
- Forklift Licence is preferred but not essential
- Full licence is a must and be able to drive a Manual Vehicle
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be highly Motivated

**Salary**: From $27.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers license (preferred)
