Due to the nature of clients we work with here at Kinexus and the projects these roles will be based on, an Australian Government Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance is essential.

These opportunities do not have the ability to obtain sponsorship for a security clearance (including applicants who currently hold a security clearance seeking to upgrade).

**ABOUT THIS ROLE**

JP2289-1 is a rapidly growing 6-year project within ASD to build and uplift ASD systems and support organisation elements for the introduction of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, communities and tactical users into the information environment. Project activities include expanding the existing network, computing systems, complex gateway services, cloud services, mission services, data management services, and deployable systems. JP2289-1 is executing a highly innovate delivery strategy enabling multi-classification working and a partnership between the ASD and Defence enterprises.

To facilitate this project outcome, ASD has a requirement for two (2) System Integrators at a SFIA Level 5. These System Integrators will be responsible for assessing client needs and defining technical requirements. This includes the development of system integration plans to support the delivery of JP2289-1.

These Specified Persons will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5 (LOR 5).

**ABOUT THE COMPANY**
Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) is the federal agency responsible for foreign signals intelligence, cyber warfare and information security. ASD's purpose is to defend Australia from global threats and help advance our national interests.

Situated in Canberra, ASD employs over 2000 TSPV cleared workers. ASD's workforce is growing rapidly. Areas of growth include PMO, cyber security, systems administration and engineering, software development and network engineering.

A top-security, complex and highly technical environment, ASD plays a vital role in the defence of Australia. Long contracts (12 months+) available.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Instrument mission critical systems for observability
- Assess client needs and define technical requirements
- Develop system integration plans
- Implement, plan, coordinate, schedule and test computing operations
- Support the Technical Leadership team as required.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED**
- Australian Citizenship and a TSPV security clearance is essential.
- Experience identifying and implementing ICT security controls to large scale and complex ICT systems is desirable.
