**Rightway Learning Family Day Care is seeking to employ a Diploma qualified in early childhood education and care to join our small friendly team. This position is part time (2 days) and can lead into more hours and days.**

**FAMILY DAY CARE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED**

We are seeking to appoint a professional family day care coordinator. The office is located in Morley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional to progress in their career.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Current WA Driver's License
- Reliable car
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in an early childhood setting
- First Aid - Asthma training and Anaphylaxis training
- Working with children card
- Police check within 6 months old
- Child Protection Training
- English fluency a must
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework - including the approved frameworks (EYLF, MTOP)
- The ability to motivate, inspire and mentor educators
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written
- Strong understanding of the Child Protection Laws, including the Child Safe Standards.
- Strong understanding of The Education and Care National Law (2010) and Regulations (2011)

**Responsibilities include**:

- Managing educators on a regular basis
- Support and mentoring our child care Educators in their homes
- Liaise with parents and relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies and procedures
- Ensure Educator's provide quality childcare at all times
- Ensure educators are compliant and following the regulations and law
- Engaging and supporting children and families within our service
- Looking for a passionate self-driven successor that wishes to work flexible days and hours
- You will have ongoing support from the coordination office.
- You will be working alongside an experienced dedicated team to provide the best outcome for our educators and families.

- Responsive to the needs of parents, children and Educators
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Strong understanding of the EYLF
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework
- Possess excellent computer skills
- Be highly competent in the preparation and facilitation of the QIP, and our Policies and Procedures.
- Build the skills and capability of the educators with quality program delivery and regular training and development opportunities
- Facilitate our growth through recruiting of new Family Day Care Educators

What we expect:

- Conduct home visits and regular assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality of care.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentoring to family day care educators. Liaise with families to understand their childcare needs and match them with appropriate family day care providers and reporting to the Nominated Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including child enrolment forms, attendance records, Programming, children’s portfolio, incident reports, etc.
- Organise and facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions for family day care providers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in early childhood education.
