Charter Australia is a leading institution in Australia, dedicated to providing high-quality vocational education to students from around the world.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced **Work Placement & Traineeship Coordinator** to oversee and coordinate our student work placement and Traineeship programs. Reporting to our Education Manager, this key role has been developed to provide a central point for liaison with employers placing students for mandatory work placement and employing trainees..

This role plays a crucial part in managing student work placements across all faculties and ensuring a continuous pool of suitable employers to support our students' and trainees practical learning experiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Effectively manage student work placements across various faculties;
- Maintain and expand a pool of suitable employers to accommodate student work placement and trainees;
- Collaborate closely with faculty staff to align work placement opportunities with training package requirements;
- Develop and nurture relationships with industry partners to enhance work placement opportunities for students;
- Monitor and assess student and trainee progress during work placements and traineeships,providing necessary support and guidance; and
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and standards for work placements.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in coordinating work placements or similar roles within an educational or training institution;
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with employers and stakeholders;Understanding of vocational education and training (VET) sector requirements related to work placements and traineeships:.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems for managing work placement and traineeship programs.

**Additional Information**:
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Sydney, NSW 2060: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Traineeship coordination: 2 years (preferred)
- coordinating workplacements: 2 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
