We are currently looking for a Customer Care Officer to join our Customer Assist - Lending Services team in Brisbane.

**This role is a permanent full-time role based in Brisbane.**

**What you’ll do**
- Rapidly respond to customer queries via inward or outward calls and analyse the issues so that both the customer and the banks needs are met.
- Ensure all collection activity takes place with the bounds of relevant legislation including the Privacy Act, NCCP, Code of Banking Practice and the ACCC Debt Collection.
- Maintain accurate records in relevant internal data systems both electronic and paper based format
- Follow legislative and regulatory requirements for the protection of the Company’s legal and financial position.
- Provide superior internal and external customer service by developing strong working relationships with customers based on best practice standards.
- Employ a Customer Service focus to all aspects of the role

**What you’ll do**
- 2 years industry experience preferably with the Financial Services Environment
- Some exposure to lending, banking, and collections environment
- Rapport building
- Analytical skills
- Negotiation skills
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail.
