**ABOUT THE ROLE**

An exciting opportunity has become available within our Community Care team in Charlestown for an experienced Community Care Coordinator to join on a part time basis in view to Full-time in the future. Reporting to the Regional Case Manager, the successful individual will work closely with The Regional Case Manager, the customer relations team, scheduling team, marketing team as well as local communities.

Previous experience is highly desirable.

**YOUR DUTIES**
- All aspects of staff supervision including recruitment of staff, induction and orientation for care workers
- Collaborations with Managing Director, Regional case Manager, customer relations and marketing for service growth in the area.
- Participate in the marketing strategy for the Aged Care Regional Planning Area.
- Ensure compliance with Home Caring Newcastle’s policies, procedures and processes, and participate in continuous improvement, quality and audit activities.
- Manage individual CDC budgets, to ensure that appropriate case management/customer service is provided, that clients stay within budget and that a high standard of care is provided.
- Flexibility within the role may include occasional and additional community care work in the field
- Liaise with all clients to ensure timely service is provided, and that appropriate cost of service is charged.
- Work with the Scheduling Team to ensure appropriate rostering of client services

**WHAT WE LOOK FOR**
- Minimum Cert IV in Community Services
- NDIS Safeguards Training
- Demonstrated knowledge of the aged care industry
- Experience supervising a team
- Experience in managing individual client budgets including case management, service scheduling
- Good time management, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills,
- Ability to promote current services by building relationships/ Networking and connecting with local communities
- Proficient computer skills
- Willingness to travel between sites as required in company supplied vehicle
- The right to work in Australia.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
