**About the role**:
***

We are looking for a motivated QHSE Coordinator to join our team here at MCC Adelaide. As a QHSE Coordinator Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving, strengthening, and supporting the implementation of the QHSE plans for our Queensland plant.

In this exciting and varied role, you will:

- Driving, strengthening & supporting the implementation of the QHSE plan whilst helping improve the QHSE performance of the site through positive influence & strong communication.
- Maintaining and continuously improving internal QHSE systems and processes including current ISO certifications.
- Providing the necessary guidance to the site team on QHSE matters and contribute to the Group QHSE strategy & plan.
- Reviewing & refining QHSE KPIs, preparing reports, procedures, & management plans.
- Working closely with the HR team to coordinate employee injury management & develop early intervention & return to work programs in accordance with medical advice.
- Coordinating and facilitating relevant HSE training for employees as per their role requirements.
- Coordinating and facilitating internal and external audit requirements on processes and systems.
- Establishing and maintaining management systems documentation.
- Coordinating the risk and hazard management program.

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health, safety, environment, or quality systems management field preferred.
- Experience in in similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of WHS & Environmental legislation, codes of practice & standards.
- The ability to manage non-conformances through effective corrective action review and assessment.
- Experience in influencing & effecting impactful QHSE changes in team culture in alignment with the strategic direction of the organisation.
- Auditing qualification preferred, but not essential.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
