**About Us**: Mick Collison Construction and Excavation is a well-established residential carpentry company with expertise in all aspects of carpentry work. From framing and truss construction to cladding, decking, and door installation, we take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship to our clients. We work between Berry and Ulludulla and everywhere in between.

**Responsibilities**: As an Apprentice Carpenter at Mick Collison Construction and Excavation Pty Ltd, you will work alongside experienced carpenters, learning the trade from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include:
**Framing and Truss Work**:

- Assisting in the construction of standing frames and roof trusses.
- Precise measurement, cutting, and assembly of materials based on architectural plans.

**Cladding and Decking**:

- Installing various cladding materials (weatherboards or metal) on exterior walls.
- Building and maintaining decks for outdoor spaces.

**Door Hanging**:

- Fitting and hanging doors, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.

**General Carpentry Tasks**:

- Safely operating tools and equipment.
- Cleaning and maintaining the safety of work sites, storage sheds and company equipment.
- Collaborating with the team to complete projects efficiently.

**Requirements**: To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

- **Physical Fitness**: The work involves heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, so physical fitness is essential.
- **Availability**: You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
- **White Card**: Must hold a valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- **Driver’s License**: Possess a driver’s license and reliable transportation (own vehicle).
- **Desire to Learn**: You’ll learn from a skilled carpenter with over 20 years of experience.
