About the roles:
This role commences as soon as possible and an appointment may be made before the closing date.
Curriculum Writer:
Are you passionate about creating impactful learning experiences? Do you have a talent for translating concepts into engaging content? Do you possess an excellent knowledge of the Australian Curriculum? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Curriculum Writer.

Secondary Teacher:
Teaching at Redwood College is a student-focussed role, centered on assisting students to achieve success through the delivery of online classes and the provision of support at a variety of levels.

About the applicant

A passion for teaching in a faith-based school. This role requires the pastoral care and support of students, participation in chapels and delivery of Christian Studies.
Be able to operate as a part of a team and proactively support the culture and Christian ethos of the College.
Teachers role:
Direct and support student learning through face-to-face lessons (via Zoom) and online platforms.
Provide support to parents/guardians.
Have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English.
Be able to support learning, and teach using online methodologies.
Track and report student progress and utilise our established and developing systems. Experience with Daymap will be advantageous.
Hold current Queensland College of Teachers registration.

Curriculum Role:
Work collaboratively with the Head of Curriculum to create engaging and well-structured content for lessons, activities, assessments, and projects that cater to diverse learning styles.
Incorporate feedback from educators and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve curriculum content.
Conduct thorough research to stay up-to-date with educational best practices, emerging trends, and relevant resources.
Maintain a consistent and organized style, adhering to established guidelines for tone, formatting, and content structure.
Collaborate with teams to integrate visuals, interactive elements, and technology-enhanced features into the curriculum.
