We are seeking high performing Draftsperson to assist workshop managers and staff with the accurate and timely preparation of workshop technical drawings and provide technical support.

**As an Draftsperson you will**:

- Produce accurate CAD drawings of parts and assembles as required, to the current Australian and HMG standards and tolerances.
- Utilise measuring equipment, inspection reports and parts breakdowns, complete detailed sketches of parts and components for processing into CAD files.
- Maintain the Drawing/ECN Register to the current procedure as is required.
- Supply workshop, estimating and sales staff, supervisors and managers with assistance as best possible when trouble shooting problem work.
- Assist with technical support when required.
- Maximise production efficiency through teamwork, innovation and lean manufacturing principles

**What you require to be eligible for the role**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- CAD drafting experience with SolidWorks, DraftSight/AutoCAD, and SolidWorks PDM
- Experience in Soild & Parametric Modelling, Sheet metal and fabrication modelling
- Experience in mechanical and structural steel drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience in mining and/or heaving engineering
- Knowledge of hydraulic cylinder design and components would be preferred
- High level of computer literacy
- Effective verbal and written communication
