**_ The Role_**

A Community Support Assistant provides care and 1:1 support with activities of daily living to aged clients still living in their own home. You work with them to ensure the best opportunity in every aspect to stay socially active, pursue hobbies, engage in everyday household activities and continue to lead valued lives. Clients are based across Ipswich, you must have a willingness to work autonomously and travel to clients homes. Drivers licence and Car is required.

This is a position suited to applicants with a genuine desire to assist elderly clients achieve their needs and goals. The Casual position is supporting client services mostly Monday to Friday during the day time.

**_ About You_**
- Minimum Cert III minimum qualification in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent
- Ability and experience in providing social support, community access life skills development and other various duties that encourage community engagement
- Have a current drivers licence and own comprehensively vehicle insurance
- Be reliable and punctual
- Have a caring persona, with an ability to work with a broad range of clients
- Excellent attention to detail, verbal communication and written documentation
- Hold a current police check
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
- Covid vaccinations
