**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Human Resource Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team at VAGO. Reporting to the Director of HR, you will be responsible for leading the strategic sourcing efforts and managing the talent acquisition function of our organisation. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee a team of three staff members and collaborate closely with hiring managers to attract and acquire auditing talent.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand VAGO’s talent and recruitment needs, developing effective recruitment plans that align with our strategic objectives,
- Lead and mentor a small team of recruitment staff, providing guidance, training, support and performance management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition partners to expand the talent pool and access specialised skills.
- Drive our digital marketing efforts to enhance talent attraction and engagement, utilising a diverse range of platforms (social media, online advertising etc ) to develop a strong employer brand.
- Implement and leverage technology solutions to streamline recruitment processes and improve data analytics.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators to the Director of HR and our operational management group.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and talent acquisition.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience in a senior-level recruitment role, preferably within a public sector or audit firm environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of sourcing and recruitment methodologies and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a recruitment team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in utilising technology solutions and recruitment tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
