**The opportunity**

The Manager, Audit (Chief Audit Executive) is a newly established role within the collaborative environment of the Office of the Chief Executive at Health Infrastructure. This role recognises the importance Health Infrastructure places on internal audit in contributing to the achievement of compliance requirements, as well as driving strategic outcomes for the organisation. The individual will work with the Chief Executive and Executive Leadership Team to lead the management of internal audit processes and practices.

The Manager, Audit is responsible for the Internal Audit function, and represents and holds delegation as the organisation’s Chief Audit Executive, in accordance with the Internal Audit Policy.

The role is also accountable for ensuring efficient and effective arrangements of the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC), including overseeing and monitoring audit issues to support the operations of the organisation. The Manager, Audit will also collaborate with the Manager, Enterprise Risk and the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the ARC’s broader objectives are achieved.

The Manager, Audit leads the day-to-day operations of the internal audit function, leading the development of the annual strategic internal audit plan, as well as providing strategic direction to the ARC and Chief Executive. The role leads the implementation and management of all internal audit strategies and processes at Health Infrastructure and partners with stakeholders and external auditing bodies to ensure audit outcomes are achieved and to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.

The Manager also leads and manages Health Infrastructure’s response to external audit requests, promoting best practice, as a driver of continuous improvement.

This is a full-time ongoing role.
