Marketing and Social Media Assistant

Sydney, Australia Trigger Social Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies for our clients.
- Help create and publish social media content on a regular basis, including text, image, and video-based posts across various platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Conduct social media research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new ideas and creative concepts for social media campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
- Assist with video and photo editing, including shooting and editing footage, creating graphics, and sourcing stock footage and images.
- Help manage client relationships and communicate with clients as needed.
- Create proposals and follow up with potential clients.
- Provide support for other tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in social media management and marketing, preferably in an agency setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Proficiency in video and photo editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.).
- A creative and fun personality with the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently as needed.
- Flexibility to work from home on occasion.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
