Meka Recruitment are looking for Qualified Maintenance fitter for our client in Eagle farm,

Our client is Australia leading glass and aluminium manufacturer and due to their increased workload they are looking a qualifies maintenance fitter with and interest in working on a varied range of manufacturing equipment and machinery. This is a full time role with an immediate start for the right person.

This position Rotating shifts (one week days 6am to 2pm, one week afternoons 2pm to 10pm, one week nights 10pm to 6am). Rotating shift rosters are planned months in advance to allow planning and notice

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Preventative Maintenance
- Trouble shooting equipment faults.
- Undertaking modifications to equipment and machinery
- Setting up and adjusting tools and equipment
- Adhering to current regulations and safety procedures in the work place
- Relevant trade qualification - Mechanical fabrication, Boilermaker, Fitter
- Previous experience in manufacturing
- Reliable transport to get to and from work
- Open QLD drivers licence
- Be willing to learn and take direction from others

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term, Subcontract, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 24 months
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
