**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Seniors and Disability team provides a range of support services to the community including information, advocacy, carer support, nutrition services, transport and activities, events and social groups to maintain overall wellbeing and independence for Seniors and people with a disability in the community.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Social Inclusion Driver to join our Seniors and Disability Services team to support the Cumberland community.

The Social Inclusion Driver is responsible for for providing safe and reliable transport for Seniors, people with a disability and members of the community. The Social Inclusion Driver is to ensure that the vehicles driven are clean and safe for passengers and that any issues are communicated with their supervisor.

The successful applicant will require:

- Class LR Drivers Licence
- Department of Transport Authority - Public Passenger - Bus
- Ability to relate to the frail aged, people with a disability and their carers
- Experience operating a wheelchair accessible vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, be flexible and have good organisational skills
- Experience working with volunteers
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

**Position information**: This is a casual position with with no set days/times however shifts are mainly from 8:00am to 10:30am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and 8:00am - 4.30pm on Thursdays.

This role will be required to work across multiple locations within the Cumberland LGA with the main starting point for the bus service at the Guildford Community Centre, 90 O'neill St, Guildford

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 4 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with an hourly rate range of $28.13 to $32.35, plus casual loading, penalty rates (where applicable), plus 10.5% superannuation
