Architectural Draftsperson

**Skills, attributes, and qualifications**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High levels of proficiency in design and drafting software packages including, but not limited to AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Vray.
- High levels of proficiency in MS suite including Project
- Excellent spatial awareness and creativity
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks.
- Sound working knowledge of, and ability to apply, relevant Australian Standards, Residential Design Codes and National Construction Code
- It would be desirable for incumbent to have a qualification or experience equivalent to a Diploma of Building Design

**Responsibilities and Tasks**

Under the instruction and leadership of the Director / Principal Designer, this position supports the organisation with Architectural Drafting services and is responsible for;
Contribute to developing innovative and creative solutions and concepts.

Develop construction level drawing packages.

Prepare, review and revise working drawings and specifications.

Site measuring, detailing, and sketching.

Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data.

Prepare project programs reflecting the timely delivery of all project outcomes.

Create 3D models for internal and external spaces and elevations.

Prepare fixtures and finishes schedules.

Research new products for inclusion in concept design and delivery packages

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
