Fresh Produce Processing Supervisor

_We are a family owned and operated business established in 1983. We packagea variety of salad mixes, whole lettuce and herbs from our Gold Coast location and supply all year round and guarantee freshness and quality._
- We are looking for a Facility Supervisor for our business, who will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for duties including:_
- _Ensure correct handling of product to meet customer's requirements including grading, packing, cool chain, hygiene and dispatch;_
- _Assess incoming product regarding quality and determine grading resources;_
- _Monitor quality of product through various stages in production shed, washing, 1st, 2nd and final grading;_
- _Rectify any issues due to mechanical damage/grading quality;_
- _Liaise with Harvest Supervisor / Maintenance Manager / Dispatch Manager;_
- _Ensure all Quality Assurance (QA) records are correct, allowing for complete traceability;_
- _Manage correct cool chain when handling and dispatch of product;_
- _Ensure all personnel are trained and performing as per standard procedure;_
- _Ensure all waste products are handled as per standard procedure;_
- _Ensure all dispatches are as per standard procedure._

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year
