We're the people behind 9 successful venues—restaurants, bars, pubs, and cafes—in the heart of Sydney including the hatted RAFI North Sydney, The Butler Potts Point, Bopp & Tone, Forrester’s Surry Hills plus more. And guess what? Our biggest project yet, URBNSURF Sydney, is making waves in Autumn 2024 Now, we need someone as bold and brilliant as our ideas to lead the charge as the Applejack Group Marketing Manager.
Joining our dynamic marketing team and reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Partnerships, you'll need a marketing toolkit that spans the digital realm, innovative technologies, strategic partnerships, and everything in between.
- Responsibilities:_
- Captain the ship, from idea inception to campaign delivery, in cahoots with our head office and venue teams.
- Ensure our brand voice sings harmoniously across all projects and content.
- Work closely with an external PR agency to create impact in media, press, and influencer spheres.
- Alongside our Marketing Director, shake hands with external suppliers and key partners to sprinkle extra magic on our marketing endeavours.
- Lead and mentor our dedicated marketing team, guiding our Marketing Coordinator and fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
- Juggle the advertising schedule and pounce on opportunities.
- Team up with the Reservations & Events squad to boost sales strategies.
- Guard the realm of all things creative content and materials.
- Keep your finger on the industry's pulse and share the juiciest bits with the team.
While having experience in the hospitality industry is like having a cherry on top, what we're really after is:
- 3+ years of leading the charge in a similar management role.
- A proven track record of orchestrating wildly successful marketing campaigns.
- Jedi-level relationship-building skills.
- The power to wield words with precision, both written and spoken.
- A knack for solving problems that would make Sherlock proud.
- Budget wrangling skills.
- An eye for detail that's sharper than a chef's knife.
- A positive attitude, flexibility to twirl with changes, and the ability to multitask like a marketing maestro.
- Proven experience in leading a team and a black belt in meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the wizardry of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design programs.
