I am currently partnered with a Federal Government Agency who is seeking x5 APS5 Internal Review Officer's for a temporary, full time assignment. This role is based out of my Client's Geelong CBD office, working standard business hours, Monday to Friday.

**Your new role**

As the APS5 Internal Review Officer, you will be accountable to undertake complex work using legislation, policies, procedures, standards and methodologies to guide your position. At times, this role will require team leadership responsibilities and will include:

- Working with participants to gather information regarding the nature and context of review requests, informing participants and their representatives about decisions, reviews and the appeals process.
- Undertaking evidence-based decision making as prescribed in the Act, rules, Operational Guidelines and policies.
- Monitoring and managing caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within set timeframes.
- Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes and systems.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the APS5 Internal Review Officer, you will need:

- Experience working under limited supervision, undertaking complex work
- Working within legislation and policy, making decisions under delegation
- Experience working with confidential and/or sensitive information
- Demonstrated experience working in a case management, quality improvement or complaints role
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT proficiency including MS Office
- A confident, positive and approachable demeanour
