Our client offers a range of services to support those living with Arthritis & Osteoporosis in WA. As the population ages, the incidence of arthritis is increasing at alarming rate. Our clients objective is to reduce the incidence and disabling effects of arthritis, osteoporosis and related conditions in the people of WA.

Offering a range of support groups, self-help courses, education and research this organisation makes a meaningful contribution to the lives of those living with Arthritis in WA.

**Your new role**

The Manager of Health Education & Services is responsible for leading a team of educators and volunteers in developing and implementing high quality health and education services to the arthritis population and their carers throughout WA.

You will lead, develop and execute an effective Health Services program to grow the business and establish new markets. Plan and organise tasks and work responsibilities to achieve business objectives. Continue to create, develop, and implement a business framework to build and deliver face to face programs, e-learning and telehealth training and education programs to individuals, community groups and health professionals. Secure and implement grants to support the business activities. Be accountable for their Health Services budget and associated costs. Contribute to the growth and development of the business. Develop cost-effective training and education programs using blended mediums for delivery.
- Collect and collate statistics in relation to all health service programs
- Provide timely reports to the Executive Director
- Establish and maintain networks in health and the community service sector
- Ability to prepare grant submissions and oversee their implementation
- Commitment to a social model of health and population health approach to identifying consumer health needs
- Conduct evaluations of all health promotion and education activities

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary Qualification in a health related discipline RN, physiotherapist, occupational therapist or similar - minimum of 5 years experience
- Driving Licence
- Research and analytical skills, including the ability to identify emerging issues, trends and risks, to resolve operational and consumer service delivery problems
- Participate in the ongoing review and development of evidence based educational resources and ensure the resources are up-to-date
- Ensure the development, maintenance and evaluation of quality delivery education services
- Work with Fundraising and Marketing, as appropriate with social media, web, Facebook, newsletter and Arthritis Today magazine
- Actively contribute to regular publications
