French Teacher

Vermont Secondary College is a large, single campus, co-educational secondary college of over 1550 students located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We currently seek a dynamic and motivated French Teacher to join our well established and successful languages team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach French in years 7 to 12.

The position will suit an experienced French Teacher or a recent graduate with a desire to join a collaborative and high-performing team.

Duties
- Review and assess students
- Provide a flexible program that caters for all students
- Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a strong knowledge of how students learn
- Evaluate teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning
- Design and deliver student-centered learning activities
- Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture
- Provide reports within school standards and timelines
- Actively participate in professional development activities

- Teaching qualifications
- Fluency in French

The school is open to supporting international applicants who are interested in re-locating to take up the role.

Pay: $78,801.00 - $116,894.00 per year
