**Description**:
**About the role**:
MPK is seeking a Procurement Officer to join our Project Team in our Brisbane Support Office. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position will support project plant and procurement requirements including processing of purchase orders, invoices and all other procurement related items.

**Main Duties include**:
Completing PO requisition forms for use in PO approval under the company DOA process
Creating and completing project purchase orders
Managing minor subcontract agreements
Processing invoices for purchase orders, plant and subcontractor claims
Sourcing and selecting suppliers based on evaluation criteria i.e. lead times etc.

**Require qualifications include**:

- MS Office proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Sound understanding of Financial Software
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflict
- Ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines
- Communicates well both verbally and written. Has good listening skills and is able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Works cooperatively in a team, values other opinions and accepts constructive criticism
- Maintains a high standard of behaviours while at work, living in the provided accommodation, and whilst travelling to and from site. Adheres to all site and camp rules
- Results orientated with a commercial and financial focus towards all activities and commitments, whilst striving to always be improving systems and processes. Will be proactive in taking the necessary steps to achieve set goals or targets
